Let me introduce my husband and myself: I am Tina Odle and my husband is Raymond. Together we represent the Civilian Marksmanship Program in IL.
We support the efforts of the CMP to provide training and competition in the proper use of firearms. In IL, we support both adult and junior shooting programs, such as High Power competition, Junior ROTC marksmanship training and competition, as well as 4-H, BSA and other programs.
We assist residents in the purchase of military firearms available through the CMP.
Do you offer any competitions for 22 cal. rimfire or 9mm semi-automatic pistols.
I live near Joliet.

Hello, I am located about 50 minutes south of Kankakee. Am interested in a M1 or possibly a 1911. I served as a rifleman in the jungles and rice paddies of Vietnam. Carried a M-16 and a Colt 1911 .45. I would like to know more about purchasing one of the two. I already have a M1 carbine dated 1943. Thank you for your time! Denny

I will be moving from the UP of Mich. to Metropolis Il some time in the Spring. Are there any CMP clubs that host hi power matches in that area? That would include Missouri and/ or Kentucky.
