Civilian Marksmanship Program▸EmploymentThe Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is a national organization dedicated to training and educating U. S. citizens in responsible uses of firearms and airguns through gun safety training, marksmanship training and competitions. The CMP is a federally chartered 501(c)(3) corporation that places its highest priority on serving youth through gun safety and marksmanship activities that encourage personal growth and build life skills.

- Senior Full Stack Developer (This position may be remote or based at a CMP location.) The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is looking for a dynamic and highly motivated individual to join our software design team. You will oversee CMP’s software development including all functions of software coding and design. Provide, develop and deploy software solutions that support our staff, affiliated clubs, competitors, programs, sales and website. This is a full time position with benefits and may be remote for the right candidate. The candidate will work some evenings and weekends and travel is required. To ensure success as a Senior Full Stack Developer, you should have a good working knowledge of creating and maintaining web-based applications, knowledge of multiple front-end and back-end languages, libraries and frameworks (e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML. jQuery, React, PHP, C#, Java, Python and MCV architecture. Experience building RDBMS database schemas; and writing and optimizing (SQL) statements, tables and indexes. Must be familiar with relational databases (e.g. MySQL, MongoDB), web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design. The ability to work both independently and in a team environment is a must.
