Civilian Marksmanship Program▸EmploymentThe Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is a national organization dedicated to training and educating U. S. citizens in responsible uses of firearms and airguns through gun safety training, marksmanship training and competitions. The CMP is a federally chartered 501(c)(3) corporation that places its highest priority on serving youth through gun safety and marksmanship activities that encourage personal growth and build life skills.

Position: Deputy Programs Chief
Location: Camp Perry, Port Clinton, OH
Position Type: Full-time

The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is searching for a dynamic and dedicated individual to fill the role of Deputy Programs Chief. As the Deputy Programs Chief, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Chief Programs Officer in overseeing and improving program initiatives and personnel within the CMP.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Chief Programs Officer in planning, coordinating, and budgeting for program initiatives and events.
- Provide support in overseeing staff and ensuring the smooth operation of program activities.
- Collaborate with the Chief Programs Officer to develop and implement strategies for enhancing program effectiveness and efficiency.
- Help manage program budgets and resources effectively to achieve organizational goals.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of program activities with CMP objectives.
- Provide leadership and guidance to program staff to foster a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to streamline program operations.
- Represent the CMP at meetings, events, and conferences as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college or university, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Five to ten years of relevant experience and/or training in program management or a related field.
- Five to ten years of middle to high management experience.
- Proficiency in planning, coordinating, and budgeting for events and programs.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Proven track record of effectively managing staff and resources.
- Knowledge of marksmanship or shooting sports is required.

Anniston Job Openings:
Position: Judith Legerski Competition Center Manager
The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is looking for an energetic individual to lead our indoor competition center. This position will be responsible for managing and promoting the air gun range facility, overseeing laser shot simulator as well as teaching clinics for competitive shooters. Competitive shooting experience is required.
This is a full time position with benefits that is located in Anniston, AL. The candidate will work some evenings and weekends and travel is required. View the job description.
