Civilian Marksmanship Program▸The First Shot▸Reserve Your Spot at CMP’s 2021 Oklahoma Games EventOKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Civilian Marksmanship Program’s (CMP) annual Oklahoma Games & HP Rifle Matches event is set to return to the Oklahoma City Gun Club, Oct. 17-24, 2021, and is currently open for registration!
Sign up now to join in on popular CMP marksmanship competitions like the Rimfire Sporter, Carbine, Vintage Sniper and Garand/Springfield/Vintage and Modern Military (GSM) matches. Also, with CMP Games events designed for both new and experienced marksmen, a special New Shooter Clinic is offered to allow participants the chance to learn more about vintage rifle competition before hitting the firing line.
Those searching for highpower (HP) rifle matches will find 80 Shot Aggregate opportunities, a 4-Man Team match and a Service Rifle EIC competition – all held on CMP’s own line of outdoor electronic targets, powered by Kongsberg Target Systems (KTS). The use of the electronic targets means no pit duty is required during the HP events, while permitting faster competition and shorter days on the range for participants.
Not to be forgotten, a variety of pistol matches are also on the calendar including the As-Issued 1911 Pistol, Military & Police Service Pistol, 40 Shot, Pistol Two-Man Team, Pistol EIC and .22 Rimfire Pistol EIC matches.
CMP’s Rifle Marksmanship 101 course and the newly added Pistol Marksmanship 101 provide hands-on learning in the classroom and on the firing line. Students in the courses learn gun safety, target shooting skills, positioning, basic rifle mechanics and more! All firearms and equipment will be provided for the classes and are conducted by certified and trained military and civilian instructors. Additionally, an M1 Maintenance Clinic will give participants specific instruction on how to preserve the historic M1 Garand rifle.

Hi,
I am interested in learning more about firearms. I live in Georgia and would like to find a “liberal” gun club so I can learn properly how to handle firearms. Do you guys have any affiliates in Georgia? Thanks for any information. Scott Frates
