Lots of heat, lots of firepower, lots of fun

What an amazing day! Hundreds of Steyr fans showed up and had a blast out at the first annual Steyr Range Day located at our very own Civilian Marksmanship Park in Talladega, Alabama on July 27, 2019. We of course enjoyed getting to show off the best of our products, and we know everyone who attended the event enjoyed getting to play with some spectacular firepower. With fans lined up at every station, excitement was overflowing. There were tents set up for shooters to demo the perfect variety of Steyr guns, and both fans and newcomers alike couldn’t be happier. Demo stations included the Scout, Zephyr II, A2 MF pistol, AUG A3 M1, THB, and of course the big dogs: SSG M1 in .338 Lapua and HS .50 BMG. There was something there for everyone!
In addition to each free demo station, attendees were given the opportunity to sign up to participate in a special competition, the Sniper Challenge. Participants could enter the competition for a $10, which gave them two shots on two targets. The first target was set up for the SSG M1 in .338 Lapua, and the second was for the HS .50 BMG. Both targets were at an unknown distance for competitors, so it took skill to make the cut. For the 25% of people who actually hit both targets, they were entered to win 20” Steyr THB with McMillan stock, but our lucky winner was Will R! And just for signing up at registration, attendees were automatically entered into a giveaway for the last Steyr M9-A1 OD Green Pistol. That lucky winner was Joseph B! Thank you to everyone who came out to support Steyr Arms at our Range Day. We are looking forward to putting on another great event in 2020!
