I just wanted to say “Thanks for an excellent Rifle”. The M1 .308 Special I received on January 15th is one tightly built weapon. After cleaning and greasing it’s a GREAT shooter. Once zeroed I’m hitting a ruff 5″ circle out at 250 yds off handed no shooting table or rest. Standing, knelling, or prone same result. 250 yds is all the room I have to shoot close by. I’ll improve a little once I get used to the weapon. I know why so many guy’s say buying just one M1 is not possible.
