I placed an order for a special M1garand in .308 about a month ago. It arrived today, upon opening the case I was shocked to see the excellent condition it showed up in. I read the certificate it came with and immediately took it to my dads house to show him. He is 83 and had a little experience with similar weapon in the Air Force. I noticed a small gleam in his eye as he held it and looked it over. he says it is too heavy for him any more, but that small smile was worth a million words to me. He said to me. “that is one fine keep sake you have there. Thank you for making my dads day. I am a very happy and proud owner of a piece of American heritage.
