I’ve been enjoying my M1 Garand “Special”, for about a year now and have shot hundreds of rounds thru it. It is just as beautiful, as the day, I took it out of the box. Mine is very special, in the fact, it is a SA #437XXX. Made Jan.1942, the same time, both my Grandfathers volunteered to fight in WWII and both carried the this? Garand.  It is very popular at the range. I let every “Youngster” the opportunity to shoot it, if they show interest,(provided, they listen to a History Story, and sometimes, they Give ME One). The Garand, is the Very FIRST Firearm I fired, with one of my Grandfathers, when I was 10. Missed the target by a mile, but I’ve been hooked on marksmanship, and fine historical guns, ever since. This “piece”, is my favorite, for MANY reasons. Thank You.
