I just received my M-1, ordered pre COVID last February. I am a long time customer and collector and have purchased several M-1s over the past few years. This one is by far, the nicest. Though, all have exceeded my expectations for condition and description, this one excels. I remember when I was issued a M-16 in Basic Training in 1969, and can relate to the feeling the recruit had when this Springfield Armory rifle was issued in 1944.
