Greetings from Missouri—

I wanted to send you all a message of thanks for everything that the CMP has done to see that at least some of the surplus 1911s have made it out to those of us who deeply appreciate these historic weapons.  I know that this effort represents years of work on a number of fronts, and I believe that it is something of a minor miracle that any of these pistols are making it into the hands of collectors and shooters.  Mine arrived the other day, and I couldn’t be happier with it.  I also know that the scope of your work extends beyond this program, and I thank you, too, for that important mission.
