Civilian Marksmanship Program▸It is Awesome

I received my rifle a couple of weeks ago. I just wanted to take a moment and say how much I appreciate the work that your people do with these bits of American history.  I am nearly 52 years old and I know it has been at least 40 or so years since I got so excited opening a package!  To be as old as my weapon is, and still shoot as well as it does, just says so much about the craftsmanship that went into the design and original manufacture.   As a side note, I have always tried to be as respectful as possible with members of the generation that carried these in battle.  But, after hauling my Garand to the range several times I am just awestruck by them.  I love to shoot it, don’t get me wrong.  I just can’t imagine carrying this thing all over Europe, Asia and the Pacific.  Those guys were truly, the Greatest Generation. 

Anyway, I know it is just the luck of the draw on what weapon a person gets, but I just wanted to say thank you for such a good one.
