I wanted to thank the CMP for the recent opportunity to acquire a genuine GI M1-Carbine for our family to shoot and enjoy, and to tell you just how pleased I am with the one you selected to ship. This was my first mail-order rifle purchase from the CMP and to say I am delighted is an understatement! The “Field Grade” you sent is so nice…I can’t imagine what a Service Grade must look like. We took it shooting for the first time yesterday and it ran flawlessly with 5 different brands of ammo and various bullet designs/weights….and you even had the rear sight pre-set perfectly for 100 yard shooting. This will provide many, many hours of enjoyment for all of us.
