Please convey my thanks to Sherry and Kent who were so helpful last night to my Little Brother, Chris.

Chris has a learning mild disability which makes is difficult for him to hear and apply new information. Both Sherry and Kent displayed great patience and understanding with him.

The result was that Chris did acquire the basics to first hit the correct target, and then to hit the target close enough to achieve a score! He was pleased that he scored better than I.

A successful event, which I will recommend to other Big Brothers in the program.

The facility was terrific. The young people and adults practicing were friendly, considering the intense focus required for shooting. The young man with the Olympic quality rifle broke from his routine to exchange a few words with Chris. His father and I spoke briefly. While it was clear we were new and a little ‘different’ we were not treated any differently, nor did we feel unwelcome.
