Wow, just got back from my 5th trip to Butner. My hat goes off to all of the CMP staff for conducting a safe and enjoyable event for my 13-year old son and me. We’ve had a blast every year we’ve gone. From my perspective, I thought that one of the biggest improvements this year was with how the rifle pits were run – much more smoothly this year and I credit that, mainly, to the guy behind the microphone – very clear, concise and professional commands.
