Hello, I ordered a Springfield Garand back in late January and when I ordered it I specifically asked for a WWII era Garand with USGI wood and nice metal. Knowing I’m late getting into Garand collecting I never in my wildest dreams ever thought I’d end up with such a special rifle. Thank you so much for fulfilling my request with such a wonderful Garand. Even though I try to live by the golden rule my luck usually sucks when it comes to getting what I ask for. I looked up when my Garand was made and it looks like it was build in April 1942, serial number 559318. If only this rifle could talk. In closing when I opened the case and saw such a beautiful Garand then saw the 6 digit serial number I was deeply moved. My birthday is this Saturday the 27th, you and your company have given me one of the best birthday presents ever. Once again thank you. Sincerely,
