Another GREAT experience!

Just got home from the Eastern Games. Another GREAT experience, just like the other years!

So many special moments of my 5 days there would be hard to list them all. A couple most notable was:

Seeing Sam P. hit the magical 600 in Rimfire Sporter. I have shot with Sam for the last 2 years in local RS matches. Good kid and couldn’t be happier for him.

Partnering with my good friend Don Rutherford in a GSM match. Have shot with Don and the Alabama crew for awhile but was the first time to partner with him in a match. What a wealth of knowledge/experience! He is a great ambassador for our sport and the CMP.

Amazed of all the logistics you folks have to deal with and still make things run smooth as glass. The way Amy and the other ladies organize squadding and keeps things running is great.

Seeing my old friends like Steve Cooper and meeting new friends like Bill Ellis (from England). Bill and I partnered at one of the GSM matches.

I won a Garand stock. I NEVER win a raffle/drawing so this was pretty exciting. Will be building another Garand for my son to shoot.

Just wanted to thank you for your efforts and for running a tight match. Simply awesome….
