The AMC was one of the best firearms related educational opportunities I have ever experienced. All of the instructor were very knowledgeable, but to me, one stands out.

I believe I heard, that Chris Knott had never been the “primary” (my term, I don’t know how else to refer to his role) instructor in an AMC class before. I couldn’t tell.

Chris really had an outstanding presence as an instructor. His presentation were very clearly annunciated,  his mannerisms were very professional, and in spite of his length of time in the Custom Shop, he was very knowledgeable about the material he was covering.  A real asset to the program, and I for one am very pleased to have had him as an instructor.

One thing that I would love to see added to the class, would be more access to the gauges to truly measure an M1 receiver, and bolt / firing pin.
