Dear Civilian Marksmanship Program,
Thank you for choosing me to receive the Dr. Carolyn Hines Memorial Scholarship. I greatly appreciate your thought and time to review my application. It feels great to be recognized for my accomplishments and activities I have done on and off the range. This scholarship aids in my ability to attend college and takes away a large amount of financial related stress. From the moment I started shooting, I have dreamt of one day shooting on The Ohio State University pistol team. Now, 13 years later, I received the opportunity and am fulfilling my dream to shoot at Ohio State. I am beyond excited and cannot wait for the season to start. Without my initial coaching and foundation from CMP assistants, I would not be at this level today. Again, thank you for your support, college funding, and helping enable this new opportunity at OSU.
