Hello! I’m a new CMP customer and I’m writing to let you know how happy I am with my service grade M1 Garand that just arrived today. This is the first time I’ve ever owned one of these rifles and it was more than I hoped for. I love the original GI stock with the gouges, dings and scratches that add so much character to the rifle. The metal, on the other hand, is immaculate. There isn’t a trace of rust or pitting that I can find. The bore is bright and shiny with sharp rifling. I haven’t taken it to the range yet but am looking forward to doing that soon. I am absolutely thrilled to able to call such an iconic piece of American military history my own and at such a reasonable price! Thank you CMP!
