I want to say thank you for the above rifle that I received the end of July. This is the first M1 that I have been able to purchase from the CMP and it has exceeded my expectations. After going thru a break in process with the barrel this rifle is a joy to shoot. It is extremely accurate and sighting in was a breeze. I’m 66 years old and my eyesight is not what it used to be but I’m able to hit the two inch bullseye at 100 yards pretty consistently. My local range has steel targets placed out to 300 yards and I was able to hit each one with the open sights with single shots. Again thank you for such a beautiful rifle.
