My brother and I just completed the advanced marksmanship class in Anniston on Wednesday. I wanted to let you know that it was great experience for us, and to especially let you know that you have some outstanding people working for you.
Chris Hord did a really good job of presenting the material and helping those of us with limited experience through all of the processes. I interacted mainly with Chris Knott and Ryan Lindell in the shop, and they were very knowledgeable of the material and just plain fun to work with. Brent helped me out quite a bit with the function fire tests, as mine was apparently one of the more difficult rifles. But somebody has to be the last one back to the shop.
We went over to the range at Talladega Wednesday afternoon, and honestly both of our rifles performed better than our best expectations. Neither my brother nor I are likely to win any matches any time soon, but the rifles are really incredible. And that is not my skill in assembly, but the knowledge and patience (and sense of humor) that your staff has.
I have found that we are always so quick to complain when we find fault with something, but rarely take the time to say thanks for a job well done. Well, this is my “thank you” to you and your staff for putting this class on. Please let them know that my only regret is that I can’t come back and do it again next year.
