I want to thank all of you for giving me the opportunity to purchase a 1911 through your program. Such a piece of history. My Dad carried a 1911 when he was stationed in England during World War II with the 8th Air Force. During that time his brother, my uncle Wayne, was killed during the battle of Guadalcanal while serving on the USS Atlanta. His other brother, Darrell served in the US Army. I can’t thank you enough!
