The M1 arrived today! It exceeded all my expectations. The receiver was manufactured during January 1943, the rifle and wood stock are a beautiful work of art. At 63 years of age, it has been a long time since I jumped up and down with pleasure. I greeted the FedEx delivery man outside his vehicle before he even opened his door ? I am so glad to share WW 2 heritage with my children since my mother, father and uncle all served as Marines in WW 2. 

Please share my sincere gratitude to all CMP staff for all that they do that allows private citizens to own a piece of American Heritage.
