This email is a special “thanks” to Cathie Eden and others on the CMP staff who processed my recent order. I called Cathie on 8-21-2018 concerning the availability of the CMP special M1 Garand in .308 caliber. She said the .308 M1 was available. I sent all the necessary paperwork, (I am a previous customer), by USPS 2 day service. You received the application on 8-24-2018. expecting a 1-2 month wait, I was quite surprised  with a phone call on 8-27-2018, that my rifle was being shipped on that day, and to expect delivery on 8-28-2018. Fedex delivered the rifle at 4:15 pm, on Tuesday, 8-28-2018. It is a great looking rifle with accessories, and I will be taking it to our local rifle range/club soon.

Once again, thanks for the very quick response and shipping of the CMPspecial .308 M1 Garand rifle!
