I received my service grade M1 Garand this week and just wanted to tell you how happy I am to own this wonderful piece of history. I finally had time to field strip it today for cleaning and lubrication. I found it to be in great condition and can’t wait to get to my farm and shoot it. I can’t thank the CMP enough for providing this opportunity for me to purchases this wonderful rifle.
