Personal Info

Professionally, I am an optometrist that gets to help people see their targets better every day. In my free time, I enjoy running and spending time traveling with my wife and son.

Reasons

The sport of shooting has given me so many opportunities and experiences and I would love to see those opportunities grow for more to experience as well.

Goals/Hopes

I would like to see shooting grow as a true sport. Many clubs often focus on the safety aspect of firearms which is great, but many new shooters do not know there are further steps that can be taken to improve their shooting. This would include both intra and inter club leagues and competitions. When shooting is viewed as a sport it encourages shooters to regularly be active in their club because regular practice is encouraged. Lastly it also encourages clubs to learn from each other and share resources because shooters will be traveling between locations more often.
