Conveniently located approximately 30 miles east of Lincoln on Highway 34 and 30 miles south of Omaha on Highway 50, the event offers competitors the opportunity to earn valuable EIC points in multiple disciplines throughout the day.
The match schedule includes:
- 8:30 a.m. – CMP EIC “LEG” Service Pistol
- 9:30 a.m. – CMP EIC “LEG” .38 Revolver

With five EIC opportunities scheduled in a single day, the Nebraska event provides competitors with an excellent chance to expand their match experience while working toward Distinguished status.
Event organizers also hope to expand future offerings by partnering with neighboring clubs to host additional CMP rifle competitions during the same weekend. Potential events could include CMP Service Rifle, Garand Rifle, .22 Rifle Prone, .22 Rifle Position and Air Rifle EIC matches, creating a destination weekend that would attract competitors from across the region and beyond.
“The opportunity to compete in several CMP events over one weekend would be a tremendous benefit to competitors and would encourage greater participation from across the country,” said Dr. Schlichtemeier, one of the event organizers.
Competitors interested in participating or seeking additional information are encouraged to contact Dr. Schlichtemeier at 402-677-2456.
The Civilian Marksmanship Program encourages competitors throughout the Midwest and surrounding states to take advantage of this exciting opportunity to compete in multiple EIC events in one location.
