    The John C. Garand Match is the CMP's most popular CMP Games event held during the National Matches. The course of fire is 25 shots slow-fire prone (first 5 shots are sighters); 10 shots rapid-fire prone; 10 shots rapid-fire sitting; 10 shots slow fire standing. All shot from 200 yards.

    The Springfield match is one of the CMP's most popular events. All competitors use a M1903 Springfiled. The course of fire is 25 shots slow-fire prone (first 5 shots are sighters); 10 shots rapid-fire prone; 10 shots rapid-fire sitting; 10 shots slow fire standing. All shot from 200 yards.

    The Vintage Military Rifle match is one of the CMP's most popular events. All competitors use a M1903 Springfiled. The course of fire is 25 shots slow-fire prone (first 5 shots are sighters); 10 shots rapid-fire prone; 10 shots rapid-fire sitting; 10 shots slow fire standing. All shot from 200 yards.

    All competitors in the Carbine Rifle match use a M1 Carbine and fire 40 shots at a distance of 100 yards. The course of fire is 15 shots slow-fire prone (first 5 shots are sighters); 10 shots rapid-fire prone; 10 shots rapid-fire sitting; 10 shots slow fire standing.

  • 2019 National Rimfire Sporter Match

    Port Clinton, OH

    Registration will open March 1, 2019

    The 2019 National Rimfire Sporter Match will be held on Sunday July 21 on VIALE RANGE. Competitors will check-in, have their rifles weighed, triggers checked and receive their squadding on Saturday July 20.  There will also be a free clinic held on Saturday July 20. The Rimfire Sporter Match is for smallbore rifles that weigh 7 1/2 pounds or less with sights. Competitors can fire in three different rifle classes. O-Class rifles must have open sights. T-Class rifles have telescopes (max. 6X) or receiver sights. The third class is Tactical Rimfire Class. Competitors may enter in Single or Double Entry options and then select the rifle class(es) in which they will fire. Firing is done at 50 and 25 yards in prone, sitting and standing positions, in slow and rapid fire modes.

    Relay Times are as follows:

    Relay 1  8:30AM-10:15AM

    Relay 2  10:30AM - 12:15PM

    Relay 3  12:30PM - 2:15PM

    Relay 4  2:30PM- 4:15PM

    The National Rimfire Sporter Match at Camp Perry offers a great opportunity to fire a fun-oriented match with your favorite rimfire rifle during the National Matches.

    TWO WEEKS prior to RIMFIRE MATCH, COMPETITORS MAY ONLY REGISTER FOR A "SINGLE ENTRY" If space permits, a DOUBLE ENTRY may be made at CHECK IN!
