Developed by staff members after several requests by CMP State Directors, the program will provide enhanced training for coaches already out on the ranges as well as instructional fundamentals for new coaches.

The CMP Coach Development Program will consist of multiple levels of certification, allowing participants the opportunity to progress through the system to meet both personal and professional goals.
The first series of clinics will be for the Junior Air Rifle Program, with plans of expanding to other disciplines in the future.
Each clinic will be approximately two hours, focusing on three-position and Standing Air Rifle instruction led by our Training & Education Manager, Hank Gray.
Gray has been involved in competitive marksmanship for nearly 40 years, most recently as competitor and instructor for the U.S. Army Marksmanship Unit and Team USA. With international experience around the world, he has been involved in both Olympic and Paralympic-style competition – serving as rifle coach at the 2020 Tokyo and the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games. Gray has also won several National titles and medals in rifle competitions.
