Texas CMP State Match Highlights Top Junior Marksmen

The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is proud to announce the successful completion of the 2024-25 Texas 3PAR State Championship and National Qualifier, held from Feb. 19 to 22, 2025. The competition, hosted by the Granbury High School Marine Corps JROTC at the Granbury Marksmanship Center, also featured additional relays in San Antonio at Lee High School and Hereford High School in the Panhandle. The event showcased the dedication and skill of top junior rifle athletes from across Texas.
Under the leadership of Texas CMP State Director LtCol Scott Casey, this year’s championship provided a highly competitive platform for young marksmen striving for excellence in Sporter and Precision categories. Texas residents competing in this championship had the opportunity to qualify for the 2025 CMP Championship through top placements.
