I want to thank CMP for calling me on Monday and letting me know they were sending two (2) gas cylinder locks for my CMP M1 Garand, due to the issues I was having with the gas cylinder lock on my rifle not threading down far enough to allow for bayonet attachment. They arrive today, Thursday, and the very first gas cylinder lock I tried, it fit perfectly and allowed for me to attach my bayonet, without issue. I am returning my original gas cylinder lock and the other one, which I did not need to try, and putting them in the mail tomorrow, Friday, 5 February. You should receive them next week. Thank you again for such quick and professional customer service. You do your company and the profession of armorer, proud! I wish I could remember the name of the individual who called me on Monday and helped me, but I can’t. He deserves my thank you the most.
