Civilian Marksmanship Program▸The First Shot▸CMP Partner: Military Officers Association of America (MOAA)
CMP’s Partners play a vital role in the success of our programs by providing support, expertise and collaboration.
Their shared commitment strengthens our mission.
The Military Officers Association of America (MOAA) is defined by service.
Service to community, service to country and service to those who protect it.
As the nation’s largest alliance of uniformed officers, MOAA’s mission is to preserve and protect earned benefits for veterans, their families and surviving spouses through advocacy, leadership and education – fulfilling a promise to “Never Stop Serving.”
The organization offers resources such as:
- financial planning
- survivor assistance
- guides for transitioning to retirement or a second career
- and even scholarships.
All in an effort to improve the quality of life for those who serve or have served.
The offerings naturally extend to a connection with the CMP, where veterans, military members and their families may come together to enjoy leisurely competition or worthwhile marksmanship instruction in a familiar setting.
It’s a small way of giving back to those who were willing to give it all for our freedoms and to honor those who did.
A partnership built on service through continued meaningful experiences.
About MOAA:
MOAA is an independent, nonprofit and politically nonpartisan organization comprised of over 350,000 active duty, retired or former service officers and their families from all military branches.
