Hey, how you doing today? Oh? You like this sniper rifle I’m holding here? Yes, it’s a U.S. Army Model 1903A4 manufactured by Remington in 1943. Is it an authentic military issue piece? ABSOLUTELY!! I’ll tell you how I purchased this BUT, you must promise not to tell another soul – promise? OK.
I bought this beauty through the CMP Auction program. This and some other equally unique examples of the various U.S. Army 30 caliber rifles manufactured from the 1890’s through the 1950’s. Some of my purchases were never issued for troop use! Way cool! Before these pieces are offered for bidding, their expert armorers inspect and identify each piece part plus measure for safety of operation. Do you get service like this at your gun show?
