CS365 Barrel Installation and Headspace (Price shown is for labor only and does not include the cost of the barrel. See CMP Custom Shop Inventory list for current barrels available.) This service includes the removal of the old barrel and installation of a new barrel. The chamber will be finish reamed to give proper headspace within military specifications. Applicable for standard barrels in 30-06. Rifle will be function fired. The take off barrel will be returned unless directed otherwise. New and used GI barrels can also be installed, but due to high headspace failure rate, fee will apply whether successful or not. $95

CS301 Rifle metal refinish-Parkerize all metal parts (suggested)This service includes the disassembly of the rifle, surface preparation and the parkerizing of the metal parts. Rifle will be reassembled. It is important to note that the exact color or tint of the finish will vary depending on the type and hardness of the steel, but it will generally be a medium gray.(Removal of pitting is not included). $285
CS302 Rifle metal refinish-Matte Blue all metal partsThis service includes the disassembly of the rifle, surface preparation and the bluing of the metal parts. The metal finish will be a dark blue/black and have a matte or no gloss appearance (Removal of pitting is not included). Rifle will be reassembled. $325
CS303 Rifle metal refinish-Polish blue all metal partsThis service includes the disassembly of the rifle, surface preparation and the bluing of the metal parts. The metal finish will be a dark blue and the outward surfaces of most parts will have a polished blue appearance where possible (Removal of pitting is not included). Rifle will be reassembled. CS304 Fit new stock to existing rifle, return old wood (Price shown is for labor only and does not include the cost of the stock. See CMP Custom Shop Inventory list for current stocks available.) This service includes the removal of the old stock and transfer of the stock hardware from the old stock to the new stock if needed. Our procedure for proper fitting for competition use and maximizing stock life is time consuming and highly recommended. Some reshaping of the stock and hand guard are required and some touch up of the stain and finish should be expected. Starting at $380
CS305 Stock set refinish-standard.This service includes the removal of the old finish/surface oil, sanding as necessary to remove minor surface blemishes. Special attention is given to maintaining the sharp edges and stock contours. Application of a commercial color stain and application of a commercial tung oil matte sealing finish is included. Repairs and special needs will be quoted before performing the work. Starting at $285
CS306 Turn down bolt handle for scope clearance (O3A4 style) (LABOR ONLY)This service includes modifying a customer supplied bolt (only Remington) for scope clearance as required on a reproduction O3A4 with an M84 scope.The modified bolt will not be exactly like an A4 bolt but will be very similar. Reparkerizing of the bolt following the modifications is included. $285
CS307 Drilling, tapping and mounting scope base (O3A4 type)(BASE NOT INCLUDED)This service includes the installation of a customer supplied 03A4 scope base including drilling and tapping of the receiver, alignment of the rings and bore sighting of the scope. $285
CS308 Modify stock for bolt handle clearance (similar to O3A4) (LABOR ONLY)This service includes the modification of the stock to provide clearance for a 03A4 style bolt handle. Stain and finish of the modified area is included. $95
CS309 Trigger clean up, remove creep, 3.5 lb+This service includes the removal of all noticeable creep but maintains a crisp military two stage trigger pull and a trigger weight of at least 3.5 lb. Reducing the weight of the trigger pull is not the objective of this service. $190
