The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is a national organization dedicated to training and educating U. S. citizens in responsible uses of firearms and airguns through gun safety training, marksmanship training and competitions. The CMP is a federally chartered 501(c)(3) corporation that places its highest priority on serving youth through gun safety and marksmanship activities that encourage personal growth and build life skills.

The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is seeking an energetic, motivated, and results-driven Affiliations Manager to lead efforts in building, strengthening, and expanding our nationwide network of affiliated clubs and State Associations.

This new position offers an exciting opportunity to directly impact the growth of marksmanship by increasing club affiliations, enhancing the value of being a CMP-affiliated organization, and driving collaboration across the shooting sports community.

The ideal candidate will be a go-getter who takes initiative, develops innovative ideas, and actively seeks new ways to engage and support clubs through meaningful benefits, programs, and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Grow Club Affiliations: Proactively recruit new clubs and State Associations to affiliate with CMP, helping expand our national footprint and strengthen grassroots participation.
  • Enhance Club Benefits: Identify and develop new benefits, incentives, and recognition programs to ensure CMP affiliation remains highly valuable to clubs of all sizes and disciplines.
  • Support Existing Clubs: Build strong relationships with current affiliates, assisting them with program implementation, event promotion, and youth development initiatives.
  • Develop Strategic Partnerships: Seek out collaborations with organizations, ranges, and industry partners that align with CMP’s mission and enhance opportunities for clubs and competitors.
  • Drive Engagement: Work with the CMP Programs team to create tools, resources, and communication strategies that increase club involvement in CMP events and activities.
  • Set and Achieve Performance Goals: Meet established growth and performance benchmarks related to club affiliations, partnerships, and engagement metrics.

Position Details:

  • Department: CMP Programs
  • Status: Full time, with benefits
  • Location: Remote or CMP at Camp Perry, OH (travel required)
  • Schedule: Some evenings and weekends required
  • Compensation: Competitive salary commensurate with experience; performance-based goals will be established and evaluated annually.
