Re-assembly of the M1 Garand rifle is a process that can take a couple of weeks to learn. Becoming familiar with how a firearm operates and how the parts work together is very important for a plethora of reasons not the least of which is keeping it functioning. Being able to take a weapon down to its individual parts helps one learn these things.

When will the CMP E-Store be back on-line? Do not want to call, need sku or stock numbers to order items. No big hurry!
I’m the maintainer of MT Post 14 American Legion. We have 10 M-1s and 4 1903A3s. I have 3 M-1s that have rust and pitting on their Operation rods, the part that is in the Gas management cylinder. We got 4 op rods from you folks back on 2018. What info do you need from me on the putted and rusted op rods?
Thank you!

I’m not a vetrans organization. I purchased a service grade m1 from you folks in January. It.s #302x,xxxx made by Springfield. Most of the parts are within a year or so. It came with an uncut op rod and after doing quite a bit of research, I.m afraid to shoot it much with modern ammo. Especially when the decided to replace with cut rods whenever they reached an arsenal I have a Shuster plug but am still nervous. Do you folks sell operating rods separatley? I don;t want to trade the current one because i feel like it goes with it.
Please reach out to our Custom Shop at customshop@thecmp.org or call (256) 835-8455, ext. 513, 514 or 540 and they will be able to help assist you.
