- Has run numerous matches in New Mexico to include the New Mexico JROTC State Championships, CMP Regional qualifiers, Junior Olympic State Championships and many other CMP Cup matches.

- Has also taken a sprorter team to JROTC Nationals 5 times.
- Has taken a precision team to the CMP/and Junior Olympic Nationals the past 11 years.
- Has gone to Quantico Virginia the past 8 years to teach MCJROTC new instructors marksmanship.
- Coached the 2017 Precision JROTC National Championship Team.
- Coached Mark Amdahl, the 2016 precision JROTC National Champion.
Personal Info
- Married August of 2017 to a wonderful woman...Maureen.
- Has five children, one in San Diego, one in D.C. in the Air Force, 2 in college at New Mexico State University and one a sophomore at Eldorado High School.
- Enjoys coaching marksmanship and the occasional round of golf.
Reasons
To continue to lead the effort as making New Mexico one of the top states for junior shooting.
Goals/Hopes
My main goal is to continue the legacy that Major Bill Barker created here in New Mexico and all across the United States. I want to continue to grow the sport in any way I can and support all teams who are interested in establishing a shooting program which benefits our junior shooters.

(NMSSA), National Rifle Association of America (NRA Training Counselor (Virginia), Basic instructor rifle, pistol, Home firearms safety, Range Officer Safety, Reloading), Hunters Education Instructor (1984-2005, New Mexico Game and Fish Department), faculty sponsors New Mexico Tech Shooting Sports Club (1980 to present), Socorro County 4H leader (1984-2010).

- Awarded Distinguished Rifleman Badge for Smallbore Prone.
- Coached winning Whistler Boy Smallbore Rifle Team 1998, National Rifle Championships.
- Member of Black Hawk Ladies Team which set a new Women’s National Record in the prone metallic team sights (.22 rifle) and won the National Metallic Team Sights Prone Championship, Camp Perry 2003.
- Member of Black Hawk Ladies Team which set 2 new Women’s National Records in the prone metallic team sights (.22 rifle) and any sights team and won the National Team Prone Championship, Bristol, In, 2017.

- 2nd place grand aggregate in the 2010 NRA National Metric Smallbore Rifle Prone Championship, 2010; Woman Champion in 2013.
