CMP Auction Moves to GunBroker.com

The final listings on the current CMP Auction site will end on Friday, August 29, 2025 at 11:59 PM CENTRAL.
The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is excited to announce a new partnership with GunBroker.com that will serve our community by improving access and visibility to many of the items we sell. Beginning in September 2025, all CMP Auction and “Buy Now” items will be listed and sold through GunBroker.com, one of the most widely used online marketplaces for firearms and related items.

This transition will allow for improved accessibility, a more user-friendly bidding experience, and enhanced customer support, all while maintaining the same level of quality items you’ve come to expect from our auction site.
To participate in CMP auctions on Gun Broker, users must create an account at https://www.gunbroker.com/newregistration/signupdetails.
To ensure a smooth transition, CMP’s current auction website will include a direct link to the new CMP Site on the GunBroker.com platform. Current and featured listings will also be visible on the CMP site, with direct links to the auction on GunBroker.

Here is an example of the MidwayUSA Foundation store which lists the sales options at the top of their store’s web page. The CMP store will also have the items available for the “Buy Now” option and Auctions at the top of our store page on the specified dates listed in the table above.
How will the “Buy Now” limits work on the new platform? Would every potential purchase have to be cross referenced before being accepted, and do we know if the listing would be locked/closed while being verified?
