.22 RIMFIRE PISTOL EIC MATCH

GENERAL INFORMATION: The CMP .22 Rimfire Pistol EIC Match will be an EIC Pistol Match. The top 10% of eligible competitors, who score above the minimum credit score, will earn 10 points towards their .22 Rimfire Pistol Badge.

COURSE OF FIRE: The Pistol National Match Course of Fire (CMP Competition Rules for Service Rifle and Service Pistol) is used. The ready position for timed and rapid-fire stages is with the loaded pistol pointed down at a 45° angle. If the bench in front of the shooter is too high to allow a 45° angle ready position, the ready position is with the loaded pistol lowered as far as possible without contacting the bench (must not rest on the bench). (See CMP Service Rule 7.1.2, page 42).

SQUADDING: The CMP .22 Rimfire Pistol EIC Match will be fired on Ranges 1-4. A maximum of two relays will be squadded. Range capacity for this match is 384 competitors.

PISTOLS: Standard Smallbore Pistol, Caliber .22 Rimfire that comply with CMP Competition Rules for Service Rifle and Service Pistol, Rule 6.3 must be used.

AMMUNITION: Any safe ammunition may be used in accordance with CMP Competition Rules for Service Rifle and Service Pistol, Rule 6.5.2.

OTHER RULES: Specific rules governing the conduct of the CMP .22 Rimfire Pistol EIC Match are found in the CMP Competition Rules for Service Rifle and Service Pistol (see especially Rule 6.3). The ready position for timed and rapid-fire stages is with the loaded pistol pointed down at a 45° angle. If the bench in front of the shooter is too high to allow a 45° angle ready position, the ready position is with the loaded pistol lowered as far as possible without contacting the bench (must not rest on the bench). (See CMP Service Rule 7.1.2).

AWARDS: All competitors that finish in the top 10% of eligible non-distinguished competitors will receive 10 points, then the top 1/6, of the top 10% will receive a Gold Coin, next 2/6 of the top 10% will receive a Silver Coin and the remaining 3/6 of the top 10% will receive a Bronze Coin (See Highpower Rifle/Pistol Rule 9.2.6). 

ENTRY FEE: $20.00 for adults and $15.00 for Juniors.
