Col. William L. "Bill" Deneke Trophy

NATIONAL TROPHY RIFLE TEAM MATCH
The Colonel William L. “Bill” Deneke Trophy was donated by the Virginia Shooting Sports Association in memory of Col. William L. Deneke to be awarded to the National Junior Service Rifle Team, comprised of the six top scoring junior shooters in an aggregate of the President’s Rifle Match, the National Trophy Individual Rifle Match and the National Trophy JuniorTeam Match (in place of the Whistler Boy Match starting in 2009) and the coach and captain of the winning National Trophy Junior Team (in place of the Whistler Boy Match starting in 2009).
